gatherings
three ways to drop in and connect
worship in the upper room
Sundays at 6 p.m.
The Compass Center, 3rd Floor
(your Butler ID opens the front door)
The earliest gatherings of Christians were intimate. They sat on the floor in attics and in one another's homes. Like them, we gather upstairs each Sunday for simple worship that grounds us for the week to come. Word, sacrament, candles, homemade communion bread, a little singing, and enough silence to let us catch our breath. It's small and contemplative by design.

dinner & life together
Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.
The Compass Center, 1st Floor
(swipe your Butler ID, no need to knock)
Thursday nights are about staying wide open to new people and new ways of thinking, learning, and playing together. We share a meal, we laugh, we grow, and we pray. We check in about what's been good and what's been hard since we saw each other last. Then comes a game, a Bible study, a conversation, a pumpkin carving, or something else entirely. We always end with prayer.

grit for the common good
Once monthly
Times and Locations Vary
From the beginning, Christians were supposed to be known not by their bumper stickers, but by their love. This year, we're starting something new. Once a month we'll be getting our hands dirty with service opportunities on campus and around the city. No special skills needed. Just a desire to serve. Students can join the GroupMe to stay in the loop about what we're doing next.
